The gel also reduces redness, swelling and pain (anti-inflammatory).</p>\n<p>•<span> </span>It is suitable for use in patients with movement-inhibiting, hypertrophic, keloid (thick scars higher than the skin surface and sometimes with a different colour than the surrounding skin) and cosmetically disfiguring scars resulting from an operation, amputation, burn or accident. Suitable in case of contractures, such as Dupuytren’s contracture (persistently bent fingers) and traumatic tendon contractures, as well as atrophic scars (scars lower or higher than the skin surface).</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>What you need to know before you use Cepae, Heparin, Allantoin gel</b></p>\n<p><b>Do not use Cepae, Heparin, Allantoin gel:</b></p>\n<p>•<span> </span>if you are allergic to onion extract, heparin sodium, allantoin, methyl-4-hydroxy benzoates (parabens), sorbic acid, or other ingredients of this gel</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Warnings and precautions:</b></p>\n<p>•<span> </span>Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the gel.</p>\n<p>•<span> </span>This gel contains paraben (methyl-4-hydroxy benzoate) that can cause delayed allergic reactions. This gel contains sorbic acid that can trigger local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Other medicines and Cepae, Heparin, Allantoin gel:</b></p>\n<p>No interactions have been reported. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>How to use Cepae, Heparin, Allantoin gel :</b></p>\n<p>•<span> </span>Always use the gel exactly as described in this leaflet. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.</p>\n<p>•<span> </span>Apply the gel onto the skin several times per day and gently massage into the scar tissue until the gel is       completely absorbed.</p>\n<p>•<span> </span>In case of old hard scars, the gel can also be applied overnight and covered with a bandage.</p>\n<p>•<span> </span>The treatment can last for several weeks or months, depending on the size of the scar or contracture.</p>\n<p>•<span> </span>In case of fresh wounds, avoid physical irritants, such as extreme cold, UV radiation, or intense massage.</p>\n<p>•<span> </span>Use in children: When used in children aged 1 or older, it is recommended to apply the gel on scar tissue once or           twice per day.</p>\n<p>•<span> </span>Using this medicine in children under 1 year of age is not recommended </p>\n<p>•<span> </span>If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or of the pack is 6 months.</p>\n<p>•<span> </span>Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household Some medicines affect your blood sugar level: </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your blood sugar level may fall (hypoglycemia) if you take medicines for: diabetes, depression, blood pressure, certain heart conditions, pain and lower fever, fertility, infections.</li>\n<li>Your blood sugar level may rise (hyperglycemia) if you take medicines for: birth control, fluid retention, thyroid gland disorders, asthma, growth.</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>How to take Insulin aspart:</b></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Always use your insulin and adjust your dose exactly as your doctor has told you. </li>\n<li>Insulin aspart is generally taken immediately before a meal. Eat a meal or snack within 10 minutes of the injection to avoid low blood sugar. When necessary, Insulin aspart can be given soon after a meal. </li>\n<li>Insulin aspart is for injection under the skin. You must never inject yourself directly into a vein or muscle. </li>\n<li>With each injection, change the injection site within the particular area of skin that you use. This may reduce the risk of developing lumps or skin pitting. </li>\n<li>The best places to give yourself an injection are: the front of your waist (abdomen), the upper arm or the front of your thighs.</li>\n<li>The insulin will work more quickly if injected into the front of your waist. You should always measure your blood sugar regularly.</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>How to store Insulin aspart:</b></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the pen label and carton, after ‘EXP’. Always keep the pen cap on.</li>\n<li>Before opening: Insulin aspart pen that is not being used is to be stored in the refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C, away from the cooling element. Do not freeze. </li>\n<li>During use or when carried as a spare: You can carry your Insulin aspart pen with you and keep it at a temperature below 30°C or in a refrigerator (2˚C to 8˚C) for up to 4 weeks. If refrigerated, keep away from the cooling element. Do not freeze. </li>\n<li>Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use.
